NGC672 and IC1727 is two galaxies playing together in space some 18 million light years away from us. They are so close to each other, galactic speaking, that scientist think they share an envelope of  gas and intermingling stars. Like old married couples they shape each other during the dance of life, and maybe the small galaxies in the picture is their kids.
