| The SC1 modification is the basic method used to get the CCD based webcams to take long exposure pictures. This modification is based on Steve Chambers SC1 long exposure modification. I have now sold my 8i telescope and have nothing better to do than try to break somthing ;-) | |||||
| I found only one page that had the necessary description for the mod. of the Pro II cam, I am sure there is more pages out there. | |||||
| Thanks for sharing Philip Davis. | |||||
| I have used the Introductions written on his page with only minor modifications. | |||||
| Since the space inside the camera is so small I decided to go for a little link instead of a switch on the front. This switch only switches between normal use and long exposure use so itīs not much in use. Itīs not beautiful but small. |

| Cutting the tracks are a delicate matter and must be done with a steady hand. | |
| It seems that I have cut the tracks a little bit different than Phillip. | Using a microscope is a advantage. |

| The interface board is almost the same, I used a smaller size resistor than Phillip to save space and mountet it on the legs of the DG418. |
